Skin: Living Armor, Evolving Identity explores how geography and climate have impacted the evolution of skin pigmentation, inspiring you to reconsider everything from what’s in the dust in your home to the way you see the world. FCMoD hopes you’ll take home a deeper understanding of our shared humanity and recognize that we – as humans – are more alike than we are different.
The Bias Inside Us will exlore how the human mind’s chemistry can lead us to a place of inherent bias. This community engagement project from the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service (SITES) raises awareness about the social science and psychology of implicit bias, the impact of this bias and what people can do about it.
Winter Pridefest Dec 21 | 12:00-4:00pm |The Drake Centre 802 W. Drake Rd. Join Rocky Mountain Equality for Winter Pridefest, an all-ages LGBTQ+ celebration open to the whole community. Enjoy local artists and vendors, food, resources, giveaways, music, dance, and drag performance, and celebrate a variety of winter traditions with the many communities that make up Northern Colorado.
