Mornings are one of our favorite times to be at Har Shalom. The campus comes alive with community, conversations, smiles and wonder. Our learning builds each year to help children develop their own thoughts and strengthen their individual and collective Jewish journeys. The CHAI Curriculum will lead students on an exploration of key values and principles of Torah, worship, and acts of loving kindness that build both Jewish identity and community with the help of this comprehensive, spiraling curriculum core and companion student workbooks.

Tuition: K-2 Grade $90/month; 3-7 Grade $130/month for 9 months.

Wednesday School: grades 3-7

Wednesday School focuses on building community, connecting to the meanings of the prayers, decoding and reading Hebrew. It is an interactive and engaging night with a very positive energy surrounding learning. Classroom time involves games, projects, as well as workbooks. We strive to make learning Hebrew fun and engaging at all levels.

Tuition: Included with 3-7 grade Sunday School tuition

Saturday Morning Shabbat School

Saturday morning Shabbat School is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the service structure and be able to participate in an actual service setting.  Each grade level, starting with seventh grade and working down towards kindergarten, will serve as the Saturday morning Shabbat Service sponsor.  Students in that grade will lead the congregation in different parts of the service and provide oneg at the conclusion of the morning.

Saturday Evening Havdalah

Joining together for Havdalah is a wonderful bonding experience where we use our senses to end one week and begin the next. Students will join one Saturday evening for dinner followed by Havdalah's weekly rituals.
